Best Digital Laser Rangefinders

As the weather turns warmer, many golfers start breaking out the equipment and begin to get ready for the new season.  If you know any golfers then you know that they tend to take their golfing equipment and needs very seriously and most will spare no expense for the gear that they think they need to shave a few strokes off their game.

One of the neatest tools that a golfer can employ is a digital laser rangefinder.  One of the most critical aspects of golf is club selection, meaning selecting the right club for the right distance.  Most courses are marked but often the markers are hard to find or aren't as accurate as they should be, especially when the greens are large and the pin placement varies often.

The difference between distance to the pin could be as much as 30 yards depending on where the pin is placed on the green and the marker can be very misleading.  In fact, it could lead you to select the completely wrong club and that is never a good thing.   If you also take into account possible elevation changes then you can quickly see how a high quality laser rangefinder could help your game immensely.

There are a number of brands of laser rangefinders on the market and many of them are golf specific rangefinders.  What I mean by that is they include features that you wouldn't need for say bow hunting.  Some of the more popular rangefinders for Golf are made  by Callaway and Leupold Rangefinders are quite popular as well.  These are both very high quality companies that produce a top notch selection of models.  Golf specific rangefinders will have features that will range to the pin, account for elevation changes and some will even recommend a specific club to take the shot.
