BMW X5 : Is It A Good 7 Seater Car?

1999 - 2000 was the year of dawn of the 7 seater cars and specifically the 7 seater SUVs. The craze for this new type of car was very high. Almost everyone wanted to buy a SUV. But back then, the SUVs were more of meant for purposes that were on road, and not off road. All that people wanted was a big car that was good on road. As BMW noticed the shift in the car type trend, it decided to enter the segment with the launch of a new car from the company named, the BMW X5.

BMW X5 was a 5 seater car, that was tagged as a SUV and designed mainly for the on road tasks. In order to make the car be the best in the sector, BMW added great performance tweaks, and also ensured the best handling. The car was also very good the fuel efficiency. But the car was totally for the purposes that were on road. The 5 seats din't matter until lately when the trend changed and people demanded more and more out of the SUV.

In 2007, BMW decided to add 2 more seats to the existing 5 seats, which made the car pure 7 seater SUV. The additional 2 seats were removable so that the car owners can use the additional space for keeping their luggages and other stuff. The length of the car also increased with it, and changes were made in order to make the car able to travel through harsh environments which is what a SUV is meant for.

This particular car features the best of the interiors compared to other cars in the category. The interior of the car is made with the best of the materials, and once you are inside the car you would know for sure that you own a luxury 7 seater car. The price of the car is mainly because of the kind of interior that is included along with the car. Although many feel that BMW X5 is not a proper 7 seater SUV, the car does offer features that are very luring. And its your call whether or not to get lured.
