Can You Really Make Money From Google?

Let’s face it – a lot of us would love to get rich online.  And what better way to do it than through another successful internet business?  But what kind of resources are out there?  I mean, can you really make money from Google?

It depends.  Getting your site on Google won’t automatically make it a masterpiece.  Nor does it guarantee flocks of visitors.  And Google’s certainly not going to pay you just for existing.  But there are some options out there that can earn you a little extra cash:

Submit Google

If you’ve got a website that’s designed to generate revenue – a sales or merchandising business, for example – then you can improve your traffic through Google.  By submitting your website to Google, you can get your page up onto their search results, which will allow people to stumble across you more easily.

Unfortunately, Google has been known to take a while in updating these lists, possibly because of the sheer volume of demands.  The fastest way you can get on Google’s results isn’t necessarily by submitting to them directly.  The most efficient way is to get noticed by them, and they’ll add your site themselves.  This is done by making sure your site has a lot of links to it on other sites.  Keep your site interesting and original; other site makers are more likely to direct their visitors to your site if it’s actually useful.

Adwords

Google’s Adwords program will be faster than simply waiting around for Google to notice you – but it’ll cost you a price.  If you’re willing to pay per click, Google will run ads for your website, increasing your visibility.

Adsense

On the flip side, Adsense allows your site to run ads of other sites through Google, so that Google pays you from their profits for every click – their compensation for your advertising space.

Google can’t guarantee your success, but they can improve your odds.  Give them a shot, and see what happens to your numbers.
