Computer desks designed for dual monitors

Computer systems have evolved thought the years, at one point people never imagined that you would need 2 displays for 1 computer! It sounded ridiculous. While our computer systems have evolved thought the years our equipment that our computers rely on must also evolve. For example we no longer need or use mobile modem cards for our laptops to plug in to a phone line to get the internet on the go. Now, every laptop has wireless in it, so you are able to connect to hot spots on the go. There are also wireless service providers that offer internet on the go anywhere. This has revolutionized mobile technology. By having the ability to work from anywhere, at anytime, information has been able to advance greatly, anytime you need the answer to a question its right there.

The computer desks that we use for our computers also have evolved though the years. 15 years ago it would have been absurd to hear of a mobile laptop desk, or a laptop cart. These precious jems "laptops" were hard to come by. As the years have gone by computers have become more robust, and smaller.  Desks have done the same thing, we no longer need a huge desk for a CRT monitor and a tower. We can now have a small desk for a LCD screen, and tiny tower, or a laptop. By making desks smaller we are saving space an allowing ourselves more room to work.

Having dual monitors on our computers is a nice way to extend the desktop to allow for more visual working space. You can have Photo editing on 1 monitor, while going though a playlist in media player on the other monitor. This greatly improves productivity and user experience. Right now to get dual monitors it has to be your idea, no computer systems are sold with 2 monitors, or on display with 2 monitors. For the time being, purchasing dual monitors is a choice you need to make.
