Discover Comfort with Flannel Sheets

In those parts of the country where the winter weather chills you to the bone, there is nothing quite like slipping into bed and having those comfortable and cozy flannel sheets waiting for you.  You might not typically think of using the term ‘luxury bedding’ when talking about flannel, but this all depends upon your situation.  No matter what you think of when it comes to luxury in the bedroom, having a nice set of sheets on your bed will always be a welcomed feeling.

There are organic cotton sheet and even the gold standard in luxury, the Egyptian cotton high thread count sheets.  Both of these are great and can only be even better if they were flannel.  At least in terms of winter sleeping, there is just something to that feeling that flannel provides.  It is like a perfect fitting glove or that mitten that warms your whole body in the chill of the biting cold air.

There is nothing special in terms of ordering or washing flannel either, this is one of their most attractive features.  While you may notice that they are prone to shrinkage, this can easily be accounted for.  The shape and size of your mattress is more of a concern than the bedding itself.  What this means is that the thickness of your mattress may affect the type of sheets that you need to order.  Think in terms of the newer styles of mattress that are much thicker or have pillow toppers and such that extend the thickness of the mattress.

As far as purchasing flannel sheets goes, there are any number of sites online where you can do this.  The home stores like Bed, Bath and Beyond or even a place like Target and also the shopping sites like Amazon and others are great places to shop.  Often, you can find the exact pattern and size that you need.  Sleeping on your new flannel sheets is a mere click or two away.
