If you love to bake then setting your kitchen up like the pros do is only a natural progression. They do use a lot of equipment that would be over board in your kitchen, but many of the small wares, appliances, and cake tins are all things that you can easily equip your kitchen with.
An industrial kitchen is going to use many of the small wares and utensils that you do, only bigger and longer lasting. Instead of your delicate Le Creuset rubber spatula, they'll use a larger and more durable "no brand" spatula that will probably work better than what you have. The same goes for pastry scrapers and whisks. If you want the restaurant feel in your kitchen, get away from the fancy brands and go to the restaurant supply stores for the no name brands.
As for appliances, you probably don't need a 15 gallon Hobart floor mixer, instead a simple Kitchen Aid stand mixer will get you the same results. After using one of these you'll kick yourself in the butt for wasting your time with a hand mixer for all of these years. They have many of the same attachments that a floor mixer does; dough blades and paddles, sauce mixer, and even a meat grinder. You'll probably get more use out of this appliance than you think once you get a handle on everything that it does.
When it comes to bakeware, aluminum and stainless steel cake pans are the tools of the bakery's trade. They are much more durable and idiot proof than the silicone and nonstick pans are. Don't let fancy kitchen stores fool you into paying a lot for stainless cake pans! The ones that you see there for $40 will probably cost you less than $8 at a restaurant supply store.
Sometimes all it takes is an upgrade in the tools to improve the trade. If you're looking to take your baking to the next level using high quality restaurant grade baking tools will help you achieve just that.
