Kissimmee’s Star Island Resort

The Star Island Resort in Florida is located in Kissimmee, right nearby Orland and all the attractions of Disney World. Because of its location near Orlando, if you're in town for business or pleasure, you're right nearby anywhere you'd like to go.

The timeshares at Star Island Resort are fairly well appointed, and have a lot of different appliances, and other comforts of home that make it a great place to stay for a longer trip. The rooms have refrigerator, kitchenette, and microwave, so you can cook at your room if you're trying to save a bit of money. The Star Island Resort does, however, offer restaurant on-site and is right nearby a variety of the best restaurants in Florida.

The Star Island resort does have many pools to go to if you'd like to avoid the hassle of traveling outside the resort. Getting to and from Disney World and the rest of the area can be a little frustrating and expensive for someone who has not visited the area before. The tolls and freeways are sometimes make it awkward to navigate to and from Disney World and the resort. However, the spa is spacious, and there are a lot of pools, whirlpools, and even a sauna, in the resort. Just make sure you plan your travel ahead of time if you're trying to go to Disney World, and save yourself some of the headache.

The resort is also near golf courses. If you're in the area to spend a day or two on the links, it's only a short trip over to the golf course. Otherwise, they offer putting greens and driving ranges on site, if you don't want to make a trip off the resort to get some practice in. Along with golf, they have basketball and tennis courts, a fitness center, and nearby fishing and jet-skiing is available at Lake Cecille.

There's a lot to do on and off Star Island Resort. So whether you want to rent or you want to buy a timeshare, it might be a good one to look at. Just keep in mind that you get the best prices on timeshares by buying from a timeshare auction instead of from the developer.
