To select one pink rug over another can be a difficult task especially if you start browsing around on the web and finding out how many rugs you will have to choose from! But actually there are a few questions you can ask yourself to make your job a lot easier and make sure that you get the rug which is right for you and your interior.

1. What Color Do You Need?

Pink is a color which ranges from a very delicate almost white pastel through to a very hot bright pink. You also get peachy pinks which have a lot of yellow in them. If you look at your existing color scheme (or the one you have planned), you will see that there is a particular pink to suit you. You can now reject all those rugs which are not a good color match.

2. What Shape and Size Rug Will Fit Best in Your Space?

A pink round rug will go best in an area of your room which is almost square or under a round table. A rectangular shape, on the other hand, is best for a rectangular area. As for the size, make sure that you don't choose a rug which will look insignificant on the floor or which will swamp it by looking like it is too close to the edges (and as if it is just failing in its mission to be a wall to wall carpet).

3. What Style of Rug Will Fit in the Room?

If your room is very much contemporary in style choose a plain rug or one with a large design and very few colors. The designs on contemporary rugs tend to be asymmetric and sweeping! If you have a traditional room on the other hand, a rug with a small pattern and a number of colors is ideal.

4. What is Your Budget?

Finally, if you still can't decide. Look at your budget. Spend as much as you can afford (to get a good quality rug) without going overboard.
