Prevent Scratches With A Screen Protector

As any member of this new electronic age can tell you all of the new electronic gadgets are great fun to own and some of them are even useful for more than just entertainment. Apple led the way in touch screen development and then everyone else played some catch up to put out products to compete with Apple’s iTouch products. Even before the touch screen phase it was apparent to anyone who owned any of the lcd screen devices, whether they were a gaming system or a cell phone that a screen protector was a necessity for long term happiness with the device. All of us have had a cell phone or mp3 player that after a little use, some of it inadvertently hard use that a scratched display made the device hard to use and see what was going on.

Cell phones really come on for hard use and get thrown in cars and stuffed in pockets and purses and dropped just about everywhere. Display screen protectors are a necessity for them and even though you plan on being nice to your phone things happen and if you applied an lcd screen protector early on in the phone’s life it will stand up to more abuse and still be readable.

Along with a screen protector a good case is another form of protection for your phone. Some people don’t like them because they make the phone bulky, but any phone that goes to work and gets used a lot will need a case for added protection. Phones fall out of pockets, slide off of desks and worse get dropped from heights. Replacement is usually at full price unless you carry accident insurance, but the hassle of replacing a phone is worth the time and effort to protect it. Get a good screen protector and put it on. That protection will pay dividends through a readable display for years to come.
