There are many different styles of cute baby boy clothes. Some baby boy clothes feature Disney characters, such as Cars, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, or others; there are baby boy clothes featuring pretty much any sport and sports team there is, which is sure to be a pleasure for your baby boy's daddy, if he is a sports fan. There are also the more 'generic' styles of baby boy clothes, such as plain colored blue, red, orange or brown clothes, or clothes with stripes, polka dots, farm animals, teddy bears, etc.
Also, keep in mind your newborn baby boy will outgrow his clothes pretty fast. Many parents 'over-shop' a bit and buy too many clothes; while having a variety of clothes to choose from is great, you most likely do not want a large quantity of newborn baby boy clothes sitting around unopened, because your baby has outgrown them. Choose around six or seven sleepers, around ten onesies, two or three sweaters, one or two jackets, two or three pairs of pants, five or six pairs of socks, and a few pairs of booties plus several hats if it is winter. Remember that your baby will grown and you will be doing more baby clothes shopping a few months down the line.
Choose clothes that are easy to wash. If you are a new parent, you will soon find that baby clothes do need to be changed and washed pretty often. Baby boys spit up and pee and poop on their clothes fairly often, so do not buy baby clothes that need specialized washing and care. This will only add unnecessary work for you. Cotton and polyester are good choices of material for baby clothes, as these materials are comfortable for your baby and are easy to wash and dry. Wool clothes for winter are nice, but some babies are allergic to wool and develop a rash; if this happens to your baby boy, then be prepared to buy other winter baby clothes made from other materials.
If you are buying baby clothes on a limited budget, then you may want to consider buying used baby clothes instead of new ones. Many parents selling newborn baby clothes second hand offer good deals and often the clothes are in new or near new condition. You can get very good bargains this way, including getting name brand baby boy clothes that would have cost significantly more to buy brand new at a baby store or supermarket.
