It is not too early to begin thinking ahead to your Spring and Summer 2010 choice for men's designer sunglasses. As with 2009, there will no doubt be a large variety of new sunglasses released, although for the most part it seems that general styles will be very similar to last year. It is too early to judge exactly what will be the top men's sunglass styles for 2010; some designers are giving us a peek into their new releases.
Gucci are planning to release several new sunglasses for 2010, most of which follow the same trends set in 2009. They have square white framed sunglasses with gray glass, round large frame sunglasses, aviator style sunglasses in tortoise shell, and Regular Square shades with a metallic or tortoise shell frame.
Dolce Gabbana sunglass styles are similarly styled with lots of square or slightly round framed glasses, and again it seems that the tortoise style frames are making a bit of a comeback.
Louis Vuitton introduced a line of colored frames in his 2010 collection, as well as the regular brown and black plastic frames. He also added a couple of reflective lens to the collection. While I would not choose the yellow or blue frames, they did look good on the male models who wore them.
Prada introduced some new sports sunglasses as well which look very sleek and are sure to be amongst the top men's sunglass styles for 2010. Again, as with other designers, for the most part the sunglasses introduced for the coming year varied little from last year's designs with the regular brown and black rimmed lenses and the larger styled frames.
Rayban are continuing their Wayfarer and Aviator styled glasses, and have added a splash of color to their men's selection for this coming year.
Overall, while there are a few new surprises in the 2010-sunglass styles, particularly the addition of colored frames for men by some designers, overall it seems that the top men's sunglass styles for 2010 will remain very similar to the favorite 2009 styles.
