Why The Wii Is The Best Game Console

Ever since it came out, the Nintendo Wii has been a very popular game system. But at the same time, so-called serious gamers always made fun of the Wii as not sophisticated enough for real game play.  While it's true that the Wii may lack some of the graphics and sound capabilities of its more serious rivals, an argument still could be made that the Wii console is still better.  So is the Wii the best game system or not?

Since the Wii engine came from Nintendo's Game Cube system, it's just a fact that the graphics quality is not high definition.  The Xbox and Playstation 3 were designed specifically to be hi-deaf.  But given the Wii's audience, that doesn't seem to matter. And the Wii controller too was designed so that even the youngest play can wave that WiiMote around and play games right along side the grown ups.  Getting up and moving seems to be big reason to play, not to sit still with surround sound headphones and multi-player microphone chatter. Seniors find it so much fun, that senior centers and retirement homes, not to mention physical therapy departments of hospitals and clinics, are installing these for their residents and visitors.  You can't say that about any other game system.
